Studio swinging

For those non-facebookers (I hand it to you), I thought I'd share a couple of images from my new creative surroundings.

Moving is generally unsettling in a sense, but I have never had a move such as this before, so it was all new to me.

I had to just feel my way into it.

It feels amazing to have designated places for things, a place to boil water, make tea, stain paper and lay out dried paper. A place to wrap, package and stack orders. A place to create. A place to store stuff. And I can see it all, right there, on a couple of long benches.

I've made my first three books in there and am starting to carve a spot for myself.

 This one is paper!

What a beautiful place you have! How lovely for creating your amazing works. I love everything you create. Your new paper book is so different and lovely. - but I will always love your leather books - especially the ones with bits of aged fabric.
Enjoy the lovely new workplace!
